Do you recommend any pressed setting powders? I've used the loose Laura Mercier powder, but I feel like I waste more product than I use. I love a matte look and want something that I can set my foundation with. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThere is a pressed version of the Laura Mercier loose powder I love! Here it is: http://bit.ly/2JbPwss
DeleteI've used it and really enjoyed it. :)
I was able to get samples of the Sunday Riley Influencer Foundation in 110 and 140. The 110 was a tad too light and the 140 was a tad too dark. Despite the color I'm still on the fence about this one. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it immediately either. Sort of clung to my dry patches despite moisturizing before application. It took about an hour or slightly more for me to not look old and dry in it. After that it gradually got better as my oils mixed in with it. I suspect it's probably better on normal to slightly oily skin, rather than dry or dehydrated.
ReplyDeleteI love the Tom Ford Illuminating pens. My TF SA applied it under one eye and then blended it, stopping to show me the difference. I was sold because the difference was so obvious. Tired and dark v. the bright, fresh TF side. I keep repurchasing it.
I love when you do these videos. I think I'm going to try the TarteGuard!
Thanks!! I completely agree about the TF pen being an instant difference! It's rare that I find products that work immediately but that was worth the price tag. :)
