Best beauty product of the year? I have like a million. This year I fell in love with Origins facial cream, the Eyeko mascara, the O2 detox facial cleanser from Dr. Jart. The list goes on for miles!
ReplyDeleteIt's not a show stopper, but Maybelline's Baby Lips line is a good one for moisturizing.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, my best of beauty items are:
Laura Mercier liquid foundation. Truly a second skin.
Nelly Devuyst dry skin face cream. For those not willing to shell out $1k for La Mer. This stuff is better. Trust me.
OCC lip tar in Strumpet. No retouches needed and the color is divine on all skin tones.
Also forgot to include twitter handle @shaydiggs !! (Post about Laura Mercier, nelly, and OCC)

One of the best?! I can only pick one?! I'd have to say MUFE Aqua Eyes in 25L. I have strayed away from black liners for the first time ever and it has changed my entire thought process when it comes to eye makeup. It stays put no matter how long my crazy life keeps me awake. Honorable mentions go to NARS Jungle Red lipstick, Laura Mercier Artist palette, and Michael Todd Organic Lemon Toner :)

The Best of Beauty item of the year for me has to be the Michael Todd True Organics Blue Green Algae Toner, I've tried so many toners high-end and drugstore, but my skin just can't live without it so it is Holy Grail status for me because it doesn't contain any alcohol so it doesn't dry out my skin.

This has really been the year for me finding new products and discovering lots of classics that everyone else already knows about. My everyday look is now bareminerals original foundation and the UD naked palette! I think the best improvement I've made is adding a facial primer to my everyday routine though - I had a BE sample of prime time, and when that ran out I got a hard candy perfecting one because I'm on a budget (luckily I can't tell the difference yet!).
ReplyDeletetwitter: @tallyreilly, and I liked on facebook (margaux morris) :)
Adding primer has done wonders for my makeup, as has upgrading my foundation and eyeshadow from being drugstore-based to a few nicer brands like bare escentuals and urban decay! I think my favorite product of the year is the BE skin rev-er upper, it gives me a nice even complexion. :)
ReplyDeletetwitter: @tallyreilly, and I liked on Facebook (Margaux Morris)!

Ahh! This IS an amazing giveaway! I have been loving Josie Maran's Argan Oil- the light version for my oily skin as my nightime moisturizer. It's amazing! Also I can't forget about my favorite drugstore find this year- the Loreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder- I'm already needing a second bottle! twitter - @shaylibee. I already follow on facebook :)
ReplyDeleteFollowed on FB and Twitter (@KristinLeigh89). kristin0125@gmail.com I discovered the NYX brand this year and have enjoyed it a lot. I'm a newlywed and we both teach, so I haven't tried anything truly high-end, but it's nice to use what seem like the best products in the drugstore: blush that doesn't melt off my oily skin but stays on all day, magical neon-colored soft matte lip creams, and fun shadows and liners.
ReplyDeleteSeriously great prize! This is on my Sephora wish list and I've been coveting pretty much everything Perricone makes. My beauty find would be Estée lauder's perfectionist, it is sort of miraculously amazing. Makes skin glow smooth and glowy
