Tata Harper Brand Review

I put up this picture on Instagram the other night and realized that I have tried so many products from the line but don't have a full brand review on my blog. So I thought I would give a quick synopsis of all the pieces from the Tata Harper line that I have tried and loved.

1. Regenerating Cleanser - This was the second product I ever tried from the line and has become my favorite so far. It is one of the gentlest yet most effective exfoliating cleansers that I can use daily. It has a slight grainy texture but one that never irritates my skin or aggravates it when I am breaking out. My favorite time to use it is in the morning because it helps wake my skin up and any makeup I apply after goes on flawlessly.

2. Nourishing Oil Cleanser - This may be one of the thickest cleansing oils in my collection, but it breaks down so easily with just the addition of warm water. It cuts through all my makeup, and then rinses it away effortlessly leaving my skin hydrated and soft.

3. Refreshing Cleanser - For times when my skin is dry or extra sensitive, I like the creamy feel of the Refreshing Cleanser to help comfort and nourish my face. It doesn't remove makeup for me, but is a great one to follow the Nourishing Oil Cleanser for an added bit of hydration. I received a ton of suggestions to try this cleanser next so that is on my list!

4. Resurfacing Mask - I have already finished this which is why it's not pictured, but this was the first Tata Harper product I ever tried. It is an amazing exfoliating mask that leaves my skin radiant and glowy, while also helping break down any dark spots or hyperpigmentation.

5. Replenishing Nutrient Complex - While face oils are aplenty in my collection, this one from Tata Harper is like a multivitamin for my skin. It is on the richer side in terms of texture, so only one roll can cover my entire face and I prefer it more in the winter. My favorite way to use it is alone after the Resurfacing Mask - I wake up the next morning and my skin is glowing!

6. Hydrating Floral Essence - This is definitely at a steep price point for a hydrating mist, but I do find that it's wonderful at helping instantly calm my skin if it's feeling tight or uncomfortable. I have recently been waking up in the morning with slightly drier skin because of the weather changes, so I keep it on my nightstand so I can mist my face first thing in the morning and it immediately helps soothe my skin and wake me up.

7. Restorative Eye Cream - This is the only eye cream I have tried from Tata Harper and enjoy it for a soothing and comforting treatment when my eyes feel dry and tight. I don't find it helps reduce any darkness unfortunately, but is amazing at smoothing out the under eye area and prepping it for concealer and makeup.

8. Moisturizing Mask - As a last step in my routine, I love to pat in this Moisturizing Mask to give my skin an overnight boost of hydration. A little goes a long way and if I add too much, it can stay tacky and stick to my pillowcase. Ugh. So the trick is using the smallest amount and then it absorbs nicely but still maintains moisture in the skin and I wake up with my face looking plump and supple.

9. Clarifying Moisturizer - I just recently began testing this new launch from Tata Harper and was excited to see it was designed for oily and blemish prone skin. It dries down to a gorgeous matte finish and has become one of my favorite moisturizers to wear under my makeup.

10. Concentrated Brightening Essence - As a huge proponent of using essences in my skincare routine, this one from Tata Harper was a big hit for me because it had the added benefit of helping brighten the skin. It did take me a few weeks of using to notice a difference, but over time I did see an overall evening of the skin and my complexion appeared much brighter.

11. Smoothing Body Scrub - There is nothing I love more than a good body exfoliation session in the shower. My complaint often is that scrubs can be too oily leaving my shower a dangerous mess after! This Smoothing Body Scrub from Tata Harper is dense, rich and incredibly decadent but the oils are not running everywhere. A little can go a long way with this scrub, but it is truly one of the most effective ones I have in my collection. While I love to use a body lotion after, I don't necessarily need one after this because it's so hydrating and softening. If you are looking for a great gift idea, this scrub is a perfect one!

12. Purifying Mask - I love a good detoxifying mask and I blew through this one in just a few weeks because I loved using it so regularly. It helps clarify my skin without ever drying it out. I found that my breakouts were minimized and my skin looked less oily when using regularly once a week.

5 Natural Beauty Products To Put On Your Radar

More and more over the past year or so, I have become drawn to natural skincare brands. Maybe because many of these brands are really stepping up their game when it comes to efficacy and I am really seeing results. I was never one to go the natural route with my makeup and skincare because I never saw the changes in my skin that I did with traditional over-the-counter brands. But that has since changed and I am finding a plethora of products that wow me immediately. Here are 5 that I have been testing and found to deliver quite well on their results:
1. Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum - Could the packaging be any more perfect and chic? Maybe it was the understated clean aesthetic that initially drew me to this product, but what is in the bottle impressed me even more. A few pumps of this lightweight serum that absorbs instantly leaves my skin feeling like it has had an infusion of moisture. After only a few days of using, my skin looked plump and fresh and was able to maintain moisture levels longer throughout the day. I think this is a product that anyone can add into their routine because all skin types could benefit from more moisture.

2. Kypris Moonlight Catalyst - Buzz does not even begin to describe this brand and specifically this product. Kypris has been disrupting the skincare industry with their natural yet highly effective formulas. This particular serum has ingredients that perform much like retinol but are all natural in composition. The formula helps to regenerate the cells and boost turnover - which translated for me in gorgeous, glowy skin. I find that using this regularly helps reduce and heal any breakouts I may be having, while preventing future ones. I also experience smoother, more even toned skin - and less redness overall. It became a great all encompassing skin perfecting serum that targeted almost any and every concern I have. The only tip is that SPF must be worn during the day when using this regularly. No use in treating the skin with a great serum and then undoing it every day in the sun.

3. Tata Harper Concentrated Brightening Essence - Annnnnd the Tata Harper love affair continues. I have a few favorites from the line (this cleanser, this cleanser and this mask being my top 3), and this essence was another hit. While most of the essences in my collection target moisture levels and hydration, I enjoyed that this had the added benefit of brightening. The results were not instant, but more gradual and subtle. However, I am still using this every single morning and night and my usual hyperpigmentation I get on my forehead and hairline each summer is much less pronounced than ever before. While it may not be my strongest brightening or lightening product in my collection, it is something I have found to be helpful in an overall brightening skincare routine. I use it after I have cleansed and toned, but before I apply my serums. Patting it into my skin is my preferred method of applying essences, and no cotton is needed!
4. May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon - If there was a hall of fame for natural skincare products, May Lindstrom would be one of the first inductees - I am sure of it. Her products are luxurious, pleasurable and effective. I have been eyeing this beauty balm ever since falling in love with this cleanser and this mask, and it was every bit the slice of skincare heaven I thought it would be. It's intensely rich, but surprisingly not greasy or suffocating on my oily skin. After playing around with it for a bit, I find that it works best for me when used alone after cleansing and toning. I love getting it on my bare skin and allowing all the oils to soothe and calm my skin. On the advice of May herself, I massage it in to very damp skin making sure to breathe in all of the aromatic scents (the whole process is almost ritualistic) and then apply a generous amount of the Jasmine Garden after to add in more moisture. I had my mom use it one night, and she woke up the next morning asking if I could scoop out a bit for her to have because her skin looked absolutely radiant! We have both been using it non-stop ever since.

5. May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden - If there is one thing that may seem nonessential in my skincare routine, but in fact is very essential are my face mists. I love using them after a nice acid toner/during the day/after a hydrating mask - frankly it is always a good time to mist in my opinion. I adore this particular one because of its soothing properties. Not only does my skin feel hydrated (duh - it's a mist after all LOL), but if anything is irritated or red it begins to calm after a few minutes of spraying this mist. And using it in conjunction with the Blue Cocoon is magic.

Splurge-worthy Body Products

As much as I like to treat my face with great skincare products, I also like to pamper the rest of me! There is nothing like bringing out all one's favorite body care products in a shower or bath, lighting a candle and shutting down for an hour or so. It's not always possible every night, but when it is, I relish in it. Here are 4 body products that are decadent yet worth the splurge:

1. Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Polisher - My favorite body care products are by far scrubs because there is such a feeling of instant gratification - smooth skin! This is the first product I have tried from Molton Brown and felt it is not only a great item to use on oneself, but would make a great gift as well. The texture of the scrub is dense with little to no oily runoff so it is easy to keep in the hand while massaging it around. What makes this different than many other scrubs I have tried is the strong aroma that actually lingers on the skin after it rinses off. Many scrubs polish the skin, but the yummy scent fades quickly. This fragrance is strong enough that I was able to forego any perfume after which is very rare for me. But even after a few hours, I could still smell (faintly but it was there) the delicate notes of the Ylang-Ylang in this particular scrub. Hostess gift, birthday gift, just because gift - this body polisher is perfect!
2. Cle de Peau Beaute Body Cream - There is body cream, and then there is the Cle de Peau Beaute Body Cream. Holy cow - this stuff is what luxurious decadent dreams are made of. The texture feels like the smoothest whipped silk and envelopes the skin immediately. I let it set for about 2-3 minutes so that it absorbs fully, but once it does my skin feels like it has been at the spa all day. Initially I noticed how long my skin stayed hydrated, because even 24 hours later it felt as if I had just applied it. The second thing I noticed was how firm my skin looked and felt, while also seeing a significant decrease in any swelling or puffiness. I can often wake up with my lower legs/ankles/feet a bit swollen, either from what I ate the night before or from not drinking enough water, and this has made a huge difference when I apply it before going to bed. Though it is super rich, I plan on using this a ton during the summer to help keep my legs (and arms/tummy/thighs/etc) in tip top shape. I guess I could also go to the gym to help with that, but let's focus on one thing at a time, k?
3. Tata Harper Smoothing Body Scrub - Give me all the Tata Harper products! I can't get enough! Though I have come to enough a multitude of different natural skincare brands over the past year (this one and this one are two that come to mind), Tata was really the gateway brand. I began using her products (beginning with the cleansers first - this one is my all time favorite) and have slowly branched out. Her body scrub is a mixture of both sea salts and sugars which I found very unique. The texture is incredibly thick - almost like a paste with which I like to massage into my body and leave on for a few minutes. I either turn the water off or step away from the stream and apply a hair mask, shave, etc to take up the time. Once I step back under the water, the scrub rinses away easily and what's left is skin that needs neither body lotion or cream after because it feels so incredibly hydrated. The scent is pleasant and aromatic, but not overwhelming. It doesn't linger on the skin like the Molton Brown, but I find that it's great at helping soothe my skin when it feels irritated or itchy from dryness. If you are thinking of venturing into the Tata body care product range, this is the perfect one to begin with.

4. Aerin Rose de Grasse Body Wash - If you remember this post and this video, Aerin's Rose de Grasse fragrance is one of my all time favorites. The rose scent is one of the most pure and sophisticated formulations I have ever come across. Naturally, I want all the ancillary products that go with it and was thrilled to see in addition to a body wash, there is a body cream and candle to complete my full infatuation. The body wash itself is a clear gel that only gives a mild foam so as not to strip or dry out my skin, but the real winner is the scent which is the perfect base to layer with the cream or fragrance. Basically I would be happy smelling like Rose de Grasse head to toe every single day if it came down to it. That is how much I love this fragrance. And for those that are not a huge rose fan (I wasn't either before this), I encourage you to give this a second look. It could change your entire opinion of rose scents.

A Few Natural Skincare Brands I'm Enjoying

It's no surprise that I am a skincare addict, but I don't tend to actively seek out natural brands to use in my routine. I struggle with wondering how effective they will be, and if I will see the same caliber of results that I do with my other non-natural brands. To be honest, I still rely on certain ingredients (retinol and glycolic acid being the two most important for me) to deliver the strongest results and that's why I still keep them in my routine often in the form of serums and moisturizers. But recently, I've been introduced to more natural brands and have been enjoying adding certain products into my routine.
I've always been a fan of Tata Harper (this cleanser is a holy grail), and find her products to be some of the best because they straddle the 'effective yet natural' divide quite nicely. Oskia is another brand that I've been fond of for awhile now ever since their cult classic Renaissance Cleansing Gel lured me in. Dr. Hauschka and Jurlique are both new to me, but I discovered a few products from each that I enjoy.
1. Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser - Since cleansing oils are my preferred cleanser for my first cleanse/removing makeup, I naturally gravitated towards this first. The oil is thick but glides on smoothly breaking up makeup easily and even removing stubborn mascara with little to no rubbing. Once I add water, it emulsifies into a comforting milk and my skin is left feeling hydrated, soft, smooth and balanced. No feelings of tightness or discomfort. If there is one thing Tata Harper knows how to do - it's make cleansers!
2. Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream - I've been a loyal fan of Tata Harper cleansers and swear by this resurfacing mask, but I wasn't sure how I would feel about the eye cream (again, this is me questioning effectiveness). Fast forward nearly a month later and I have been blown away with how much I enjoy using this. It targets multiple anti-aging concerns such as dark circles and fine lines, and it helps keep the skin around my eye area taut and smooth. It's rich enough for the evening, but still works well during the day under makeup. Those looking for a more natural eye cream option for targeting anti-aging, this is a great one to try!
3. Jurlique Clarifying Deep Cleansing Gel - Now that it is summer, I love to add in more gel textures to my skincare routine. This Jurlique deep cleansing gel has small microspheres of jojoba esters that give a gentle but effective exfoliation to the skin. In addition, it contains willow bark that helps to kill any acne-causing bacteria so I've been using it when I feel a breakout coming on. It's refreshing on the skin, but I have found that I like removing it better with a damp cloth to avoid making my skin feel stripped or tight.
4. Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk - I don't know why it has taken me so long to finally try this product, because it has been on my radar for yearrrrrrs. I worked at Sephora when I first moved to NYC 15 years ago, and so many of our clients would come in and rave about this product. I finally feel a sense of completion now that I can participate in the Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk lovefest. This stuff feels heavenly when on, and literally envelopes the skin in moisture making it feel soothed, calm and nourished. I can use either with water or a damp cloth as my second cleanse, and find that it works even when my skin is at it's most sensitive.
5. Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream - While the Soothing Cleansing Milk was something I've been wanting to try for a long time, the Rose Day Cream did not interest me as much. That is until Jennifer Lopez mentioned it on 'Watch What Happens Live' one night and then my interest was piqued! LOL! I mean, c'mon....her skin is everything! I was hesitant because it is so rich, but found that using just the smallest amount worked well for me. I was surprised to see how it made my skin glow, but not in a greasy or oily way. It's definitely more of a winter product for me to wear all over my face, but I used it recently on a few dry patches I've had from breakouts that are healing and it worked wonders on them! If you suffer from dry and sensitive skin, this would be perfect for you year round. Those with oily skin may find it works better in the colder months, and as a spot treatment in the warmer weather.
6. Oskia Renaissance Mask - After hearing angels sing when using the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, I was excited to give the mask a try. It is designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and reduce the appearance of fine lines - basically it's a new face in a jar, ha! Just the description alone had me excited, and once I saw the results, it lived up to all my expectations. My skin felt smooth, soft and glowed like I just had the best facial of my life. I swear each product I try from Oskia is better than the last, and can't believe it took me soooo long to discover this fabulous brand! I think I may begin defining the periods of my life as B.O. and A.O., Before Oskia and After Oskia. My skin only prefers to only live in the A.O. era going forward.

My Face Oil Picks

It wasn't until recently that I looked into my skincare collection and realized that I clearly have a thing for face oils. Face oils (in fact, oils in general) are having a moment now which pleases me greatly. Nothing is better for my oily skin (yes, I said OILY skin) than face oils, cleansing oils, body oils....the more oil I put on my body, the less my body has to produce. Which in essence has me end up with a more normalized complexion. *throws confetti* So after reading my good friend, Danielle's post on her face oil collection, I was inspired to write my own and share my thoughts on each. Many have similar textures and address similar concerns, but I still thought I would add my two cents in about each one.
1. Goldfaden MD Fleuressence Botanical Cell Oil - I love when I am introduced to a brand and before I know it, the line is taking over my collection. Each product I've tried from Goldfaden MD has been fantastic and currently I am using this eye cream and this cream in my morning skincare routine (and swear by this scrub), so when I heard they launched a new face oil, I had to try it! The formula is comprised of 100% pure active botanicals and feels wonderful on the skin. It has almost a watery-like oil texture that absorbs right into the skin leaving only a natural glow to the skin.

2. Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil - Sunday Riley is the queen of face oils - launching three popular ones in the past few years (Artemis, Juno and Isis). So when word got out that she was coming out with a new one....the anticipation began. Luna Sleeping Night Oil is a bit more of a workhouse than typical face oils since it has trans-retinol ester which provides strong anti-aging benefits. This oil is strong in its effectiveness, and I began seeing results with my appearance of pore size and overall tone within just a few nights. Over time, it targets fine lines, discoloration and damaged skin. I anticipate this will become a cult classic, if it isn't already.

3. Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil - This is the first product that I've tried from the Colbert MD line and I've heard great things about this face oil. It contains both Retinol and Vitamin C ester which makes this an anti-aging powerhouse. Wrinkles and uneven skin tone are hit hard with this oil, but what I really love about it is the glow I get the morning after. I feel so radiant. It is definitely lighter in texture than many face oils I've tried, which really appeals to me and sinks in immediately upon application.
4. Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil - This is one of the first face oils I ever used and fell in love with, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I find this to be the driest of all my oils which is lovely in the warmer weather when I need the hydration but not the richness. And while many other face oils require only the smallest drop so as not to sit on top of my skin, I can use a bit more with this and not have any worry that it will be too much for my oily skin.

5. Tata Harper Replenishing Nutrient Complex - One of the biggest selling points of Tata Harper's products are her great ingredients. It's a natural beauty line that still manages to be extremely effective. This oil has a thicker texture and more of a natural/essential oil scent which can be a turn-off for some, but not for me. Strong scents don't bother me as long as the product works. Another feature of this oil that immediately caught my eye was the roller ball application which I didn't think I would like, but surprisingly I did! It makes it easy to apply and I find that it helps me target certain areas that I want to treat more. I definitely prefer this formula in the colder weather, and find it really helps to soothe any irritated or sensitive skin that I have.

6. Sunday Riley Artemis Face Oil - Along with the Boscia Tsubaki Oil, Sunday Riley's Artemis Oil was one of the first face oils that I used. What makes this one so unique especially for me was it's ability to help clarify, purify and soothe the skin. I find this one is the most helpful in dealing with acne, congested skin and breakouts - and when my skin is extra oily due to hormonal changes, this oil really helps to balance it out. The scent has a strong herbaceous quality to it which could bother some people, but as I've said before, scent rarely bothers me. While many face oils don't work well for me during the day, this is one of the few that I can use under makeup.
7. Kate Somerville Dilo Oil - There is almost no Kate Somerville product that I've tried and haven't fallen instantly in love with after using. (I swear by this exfoliator, this peel, this moisturizer and this body cream) This Dilo Oil was no exception. The scent is pleasant and relaxing, and the oil does a wonderful job of helping replenish and restore my skin when it's acting up or feeling a bit overly sensitive.

8. Sisley Black Rose Face Oil - This Sisley Black Rose Face Oil is truly the epitome of luxury. From the scent (floral but pleasant), to the texture (like liquid silk), to the feel on the skin (soft and nourishing) - this face oil is all around one of the best oils in my collection. While it has anti-aging benefits to help target fine lines and wrinkles, it also revitalizes the skin in a way that makes my skin look like its had a facial. The morning after using this oil I find that my skin looks rested, nourished, plump, radiant, renewed - I mean, I could go on and on but you get my drift. When my skin is at it's worst (sunburned, flaky, dry, irritated), I reach for this first. After my recent trip to Costa Rica, I even went so far as to put a few drops on my sunburned shoulders to help replenish the moisture. I didn't peel, nor flake and my skin healed so incredibly well. Now of course I don't recommend taking a product this expensive and drenching it all over your body (you can but make sure you have a large credit limit - yowza), but it definitely showed me the true magic of this oil. Yes, I said magic. I have a flair for the dramatic, what can I say?

Tata Harper Review

It began with the Resurfacing Mask and then continued with the Regenerating Cleanser, and from there my love for the Tata Harper brand just kept growing and growing. The three newest additions to my collection are the Refreshing Cleanser, the Hydrating Floral Essence and the Replenishing Nutrient Complex

1. Refreshing Cleanser - If there is one thing that Tata Harper is known for at this point, it's her cleansers. The Regenerating Cleanser is a holy grail for me, so I was anxious to dive into a few other ones. She recently launched two new ones called the Nourishing Oil Cleanser and the Purifying Cleanser which I am excited to try, but for now I have fallen in love with the Refreshing Cleanser. It's a light creamy texture that feels soft and gentle on the skin, and is perfect for me as a second cleanse or even a morning time cleanse. It can remove my makeup if I am not wearing too much that day, but I prefer a cleansing oil to handle that so I leave this Refreshing Cleanser to help nourish and soften my skin. I have oily skin and adore this, but think it would be great for just about any skin type.
2. Hydrating Floral Essence - After I use an acid toner or a facial pad (read my post here on some of my favorites), I love to mist my face with this to give it a boost of hydration. While there are many hydrating mists out there, it can be the small things that set them apart. The first thing I noticed when using this was how even the mist is dispersed on the skin and you are left with a nice spritz rather than a squirt in your face. *insert water droplet emojis* There are no harsh astringents or alcohol in it so it's safe for the most sensitive of skins and helps to replenish my skin's moisture barrier immediately. In addition to the toning step of my routine, I also enjoy using it after I apply my makeup to refresh the skin and take away any of that overly powdered look I can get after I apply my finishing powders. Often many hydrating mists say they are good over makeup but end up making the skin look too dewy or disrupting makeup, but this one does neither. It's a bit of a splurge but if you are wanting an intense mist to help keep your skin hydrated, I recommend giving this a shot.

3. Replenishing Nutrient Complex - I love a facial oil as much as the next gal and this one has been on my wish list for quite sometime. Chock full of nutrients and great ingredients, it is designed to be a "multivitamin" for your skin. Because of the rollerball applicator, it makes it easy to apply with only a few rolls up and down on the face. Though it's not entirely a dry oil that absorbs immediately like some others I have in my routine, it is lightweight enough to hydrate my skin without leaving it oily or shiny. I have been reaching for this a lot over the past few weeks because it has done wonders for tackling any dry patches that have popped up because of the brutal winter weather in NYC. As with many of Tata's products, there is a glow that comes with using this that I really enjoy. My skin looks radiant and fresh after applying, and any red areas are immediately calm and soothed. And since it has an easy applicator, I like to pop this in my bag to use on the go for my face, cuticles, hands - basically any dry or irritated spot that could come up during the day.

Seeking Radiance

Outside of trying to deal with any stubborn breakouts, the number one result I am constantly in search of is radiance. Obviously a serious peel or intense exfoliating treatment is a guaranteed shine, but I enjoy finding other products that I can add into my skincare routine here and there that help me keep that glow going. There are 3 products I've recently been testing and so far my initial thoughts have been quite favorable. I still have a few more weeks to go until I can see final results, but these are my first impressions.
Bottom to top: Tata Harper, Dr. Dennis Gross Booster and By Terry Balm
1. Tata Harper Regnerating Cleanser - Already a fan of the Tata Harper resurfacing mask (review here), I had high hopes for this cleanser. I am a sucker for reviews, and I have seen this cleanser getting great marks out there on the ol' net. Now I can see why. The texture is slightly grainy but nothing that feels irritating, in fact it feels delightful. I typically switch up my cleansers often, but I hunkered down and used this every day for almost a week straight and I kid you not, my skin was practically that of a newborn baby. I've had it in rotation for a couple weeks now and while I have allowed some other cleansers to jump in, I absolutely still swoon every time I use this. I know this is a bit of a splurge, but those enzymes in the formula really earn their stripes.

2. Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Concentrate Radiance Booster - This is part of the booster trio that was released recently, but this is the first one I tried. Since it can be added to your current serum, moisturizer or foundation for a 'boost', I thought I would give it a go in my morning skincare routine. I began adding it to my morning serum (currently I am using this) and was not too sure I noticed much of a difference the first few days. Fast forward about 2 weeks and I realized that there was a marked change in the texture of my skin. And though I am not a scientist, I feel as if it is making my current serum work even better. I have been using the Clarins Double Serum for about 4-5 months now and wasn't sure I was seeing such great results anymore, and then I added the booster and I feel like the initial results of the serum are back and even stronger. Stay tuned for my thoughts on the remaining two boosters.

3. By Terry Cellularose Baume d'Eau - The name didn't do much to lure me in until I looked right under the name and saw "Brightening Aqua-Balm". Yup, that sealed the deal. I've said before that while I do care about anti-aging, I find that hydration is one of the best ways to keep skin looking fresh and youthful. This balm is like the most intense drink of water for your skin. The gel texture feels weightless to the touch but once it goes on, there is no doubt it delivers serious moisture. Though it seems like the ideal product for summer, I can tell you that this is the exact kind of moisturizer I need for the colder months. Quick, intense hydration that absorbs immediately without leaving my skin feeling heavy.  I am already a quarter of the way through it in just a few weeks, and since I rarely finish a moisturizer this is quite a feat. And a testament to how much my skin loves it.
