It's that time again - GIVEAWAY TIME! Can you believe it???? ME NEITHER. Since it's a new year, I figured I would help one lucky ALB reader get their skincare routine started on a great note with my favorite Mario Badescu products. What I have here are 4 of the products that my skin can simply not live without - as one of you will soon find out! Here is what I have to say about each one:
1. Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel - As a new customer to this brand, I am amazed over and over
again at how fantastic and EFFECTIVE their products are for my oily,
hormonal, acne-prone, petulant-teenager-like skin. Since it is soap
free, and formulated with alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate, it gives me
everything my skin needs to stay clear and blemish free - hallelujah!
2. Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30 - I may use 3,468 moisturizers at night that target every single skincare ailment out there, but when it comes to the morning, my go-to every day staple is this one. Lightweight enough for the summer, but hydrating enough to be used during the winter.
3. Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion - My Instagram followers are quite familiar with my love of this
toner - since I post it almost once a week in my nightly skincare
routine pics, but use it at least 3-5x/wk. Designed for acne prone/oily
skin, this has done wonders for me to help clear up my skin.
4. Mario Badescu Cucumber Tonic Mask
- My clear skin has found a new BFF in this mask. Rarely has a pore
cleansing mask worked so well, without drying me out, and for that I am
eternally grateful. Clear skin = happy blogger = Mario Badescu customer
for life.
So now that you have the scoop on the goods - let's talk about how you can WIN, WIN, WIN!!!!

Hydrating Mask by Dermalogica....my skin gets so very very dry....and I have oily skin too. So annoying!!!
ReplyDeleteThis winter I'm digging Mario Badescu's Glycolic Foaming Cleanser a few times a week for some gentle exfoliation, along with Murad's Mattifying Moisturizer with SPF 15 as a daily moisturizer. Also very attached to the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask and Origin's Out of Trouble Mask a few times a week!

Thanks!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway I love me some Mario Badescu.
Some of my winter staples are
Body shop tea tree face wash
M. Badescu toner
Obagi Vit c serum
Korres Eye cream
Origins night cream
I've been using Egyptian Magic Cream and homemade creams out of coconut oil, argan oil, & vitamin E
ReplyDeleteMy skin is so finicky. I alternate three different face washes: a prescription one, noxema, and clean and clear morning burst. I also use skin authority's skin renewal gel which helps to diminish the look of my acne scars. I'd love to win this prize package because I've never heard of Mario before, and clearly by my regimen, I have yet to find something that works for my oily acne prone skin.

I've just recently discovered a great winter skin care staple and that is Cetaphil cream! I use it at night and I wake up with really soft skin that is not oily at all. I like Cetaphil because it is very simple and does not bother my acne prone skin.
ReplyDeleteI have been using the drying lotion from Mario Badescu for my blemishes and it does wonders for my skin! I really love Mario Badescu. I hope I win! Thank you for this opportunity! Great blog.

One product I have been using recently this winter has been the Cetaphil cream! It's great. I wake up and my skin is very soft and not oily at all. It also is very gentle and does not bother my acne prone skin.
ReplyDeleteI have recently become familiar with Mario Badescu's products but have only purchased the drying lotion and I love it. I've received some samples with my purchase and I've enjoyed using those. Thank you for this opportunity! I enjoyed reading your description of each product and what they have done for you. I would love some help with my acne prone skin. Thank you!

I have been curious about this line for the past few weeks, I'm trying to clear up my problem skin in time for my wedding! For winter I've been relying on my Ole Henriksen eye cream and night time moisturizer, it has kept my skin moisturized despite the dry air!

To prevent dry skin in winter I use sunscreen, and I also put it on my lips then I never have chapped lips. I think chapped lips is just a sunburn.
I am soooo beyond excited about this giveaway!!! I am a Mario Badescu ADDICT! I love knowing Badescu products are NOT tested on animals and are made of high quality ingredients. Badescu is one of the only lines I can use on my skin for which I do not have a reaction. Right now I cannot live without Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater; Badescu Ceramide Eye Gel; Badescu Almond and Honey Facescrub; Badescu Orange Tonic Mask, Badescu Kera Moist Cream (oil free moisturizer in the summer) and Badescu Azulene Body Soap.

Love your blog!!! I've tried several of your recommendations and have been thrilled every time. I'm now a Julep Maven!!!
ReplyDeleteWhether I win or not as soon as I've finished my Beauticontrol glyc acid cleanser for oily skin I'm trying out MB's cleanser. I have oily skin but thankfully no breakouts. I can't live w/o my Shiseido sunscreen lotion regardless of the season. It's the only sunscreen my skin likes. With our mild winters in Austin, TX one needs to wear sunscreen year around.
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

By far my favorite is the thick creamy goodness of the SPF 15 Hampton Sun Facial cream. As compared to my clinique hydrating lotion in the summer, the creaminess goes a long way.
