3 Jelly Cleansers Worth Trying

I fell in love with jelly cleansers when Nude first releasing their Omega Cleansing Jelly (omg, do you remember NUDE skincare?! I miss them!). It was a mix between a gel and a balm and worked wonders at removing makeup while still making my skin feel plump and supple after. Since then I have seen so many more jelly cleansers pop up and I am always drawn to them. Not only is the texture appealing to me, but they always do an amazing job at removing makeup, giving my skin a deep cleanse while still keeping it nicely hydrated. There are three new jelly cleansers that I've been testing and my skin has been enjoying all 3 and I felt a blog post was in order!

1. Tatcha The Deep Cleanse - This isn't as much a jelly cleanser as the other two, but it does have a creamy gel texture so I decided to include it in this post anyways. As you can see from the swatches below, it is the thickest out of all 3 but what may not be visible are the little exfoliating beads in the formula. I wasn't expecting that and ended up loving the slight bit of exfoliation that it gave me. This one is strictly a second or morning cleanse as I don't find that it does a good job of removing makeup. For being a gel cleanser, I expected a bit of lather which it has but nothing that is too drying. In fact, my skin felt quite balanced after and with the added benefit of exfoliation, I have been using this the most in the morning because it preps my skin so well for makeup.

2. Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser - I'm currently testing out the entire line of Drunk Elephant skincare for an upcoming YouTube video I plan to do at the end of this month. This was one of the only products from the line that I didn't have so the DE team graciously sent it over for me to try. It is the thinnest texture out of all 3, and was an instant winner when it came to removing makeup. It does foam slightly but dissolves into a light milk with water and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry afterwards.

3. Origins Cleansing Makeup Removing Jelly - As the name suggests, this cleanser is designed to be great at removing makeup. And it is. The texture is a bit thicker than the Drunk Elephant, and does not foam as much. If I had to compare it to the Drunk Elephant, I would say that this one breaks down makeup a bit quicker. It leaves my skin feeling clean, but I do need a more moisturizing milk or balm cleanser after to add a bit of moisture back into my skin.
