Mother's Day Gift Guide

It felt like Easter was yesterday and then I looked at the calendar and realized Mother's Day is this coming weekend. Yowza! Spring seems to be flying by. I thought I would share some great Mother's Day gift ideas in today's post.

1. Robe - I own this robe and have convinced so many of my friends to get it as well (and they love it too!). It is the fuzziest and coziest thing you will ever wear.

2. Initial necklace - This dainty necklace is so chic and is perfect for putting your kids' initials on it.

3. Monogrammed tote - A classic black tote is a wardrobe essential and this one is able to be monogrammed! I love adding touches of personalization to a gift to make it more special.

4. Pearl headband - The headband trend is big right now and the pearl embellished ones are so beautiful.

5. Star earrings - Lisi Lerch is my go-to for statement earrings and each pair can be customized for pierced or non-pierced ears. These star earrings are so cute for summer.

6. Eternity roses - Many of my friends have received these roses as gifts and they truly do last for an entire year! As someone who loves flowers, these would be a gift that I would love to receive.

7. Cosmetics case - I've seen these cosmetics cases all over social media and think they look so chic. Great for travel or using at home.

8. Chanel eyeshadow palette - I have this palette and it is worth every penny. Such a great present for the luxury beauty lover!

9. Clear bag - Clear bags are so popular right now and this brand makes some of the best. I love the white piping with the brown accents which makes it great for wearing year round.

10. Microneedling tool - This has been on my wish list for a long time and I have heard so many great things about it. If anyone in your life is a skincare lover, this would be the perfect mother's day gift.

11. Pajama set - This is my favorite brand of pajamas and it's all I ever ask for when any holiday comes around. They fit so well, I love the prints and most of them are cropped which means I never have to worry about the pants being too long (#shortinseamproblems)!

Gift Ideas For the Home and Kitchen

Maree's pajamas | Miles' pajamas
I cannot with Miles' tongue in that photo - he is such a ham! This will be my final gift guide and it's tons of ideas for the home and or kitchen. I asked Stan to give his input on many of these because he is the chef in our home and knows all the good items to splurge on. Here are all my picks:

1. If I could, I would put a fuzzy rug in every single room of my home. These come in so many different colors and sizes and look so soft!

2. My girlfriend has this mirror in her house and it looks amazing (and is under $50)! It comes back in stock frequently so check back because it is definitely worth it.

3. I've seen so many people talking about this Instant Pot and now I really want to try it.

4. A bar cart is such a fun addition to the dining room or living room and can be decorated so many times throughout the year. This one is a splurge but so chic.

5. A pizza oven is not your ordinary gift but one that the entire family can enjoy!

6. Stan is the chef in our house and he loves all the fancy kitchen gadgets. This is on his wish list at the moment (frankly anything from the entire brand would be ok with him).

7. For the men in your life or anyone that is looking for a great knife set, Stan said this brand is fantastic and worth the splurge.

8. I'm not too fussy about my coffee but Stan is and he dreams of owning this espresso machine someday. (or this one if we win the lottery LOL - at that price it better hug me and make me breakfast)

9. For the baker in your life (or anyone that has a kitchen LOL), these canisters are adorable (and so functional).

10. Possibly a gift for yourself if you are looking for a chandelier option for various rooms in the house, this draped one is absolutely beautiful!

11. I love everything Gray Malin and think his pieces make the best gifts. I love his Beaches book and have given it to many of my friends (I have it too), his candle is so chic, I would lose my mind if I received one of his coffee table trays (this one and this one are everything) and of course his photography is what made him famous and would make the ultimate gift.

12. For a last minute stocking stuffer, these holiday mugs are adorable.

I updated The Holiday Shop with some new finds so be sure to check it out!

Gift Guide for Her Under $100

Today's gift guide is a mash-up of a variety of different gift ideas but all of them are under $100! There is something for a close friend, coworker, hostess, stocking stuffer and tons more. Read on for all my picks:

1. I adore this vintage lipstick holder. It's the most beautiful way to display your favorite shades.

2. A silk pillowcase is such a luxury and one that you may not buy for yourself so it makes a great gift!

3. I have coffee table books all over my house and love them to spruce up a table or bookshelf. This set of three is perfect for a fashion lover and this one makes quite the statement.

4. I discovered this designer when I was looking for clip-on statement earrings and immediately fell in love with her styles! Each pair can be made for pierced ears or with a clip-on back and most are under $100. I have these and wear them with so much, these tassel earrings come in every color imaginable and these are a great warm weather vacation piece.

5. It may take a few weeks to be delivered and may arrive after Christmas, but these personalized phone cases are still a great gift idea!

6. Gummy candies as a gift?! YES! These are not your average gummies and are absolutely delicious. There are a ton of fabulous flavors and the packaging is super chic.

7. I bought these tech gloves for myself a few years ago and cannot survive winter without them. Now I gift them to so many friends and family and everyone always loves them.

8. This wrap cardigan is perfect for around the house or with jeans/boots for a casual day out. I ended up buying my mom one and she wears it at least twice a week now!

9. For another cozy sweater option (one can never have too many), this funnel neck style looks so comfortable. And I love the quilted pattern.

10. I'm crazy for fancy coasters and think they make a great hostess gift.

11. Give the gift of delicious treats! (no seriously, send some my way LOL) I love sampler tins like this one from Neiman Marcus and of course, you can never go wrong with something from this classic gift basket company. My parents used to order a basket from them every year and everything was always delicious!

12. You can gift someone this entire set or wrap up each candle individually for stocking stuffers.

13. For the frequent traveler, this backpack that can hold a laptop is an amazing gift! And the color options are beautiful.

14. There is nothing more relaxing that a good facial massage and this roller is great to use at night after applying skincare. I also love this tip - use it with a sheet mask to massage in the product!

I hope you were able to check off some people on your holiday gift list with my picks. Happy shopping!

Gift Guide for the Loungewear Lover (Tons of Cozy Picks!)

Poncho (similar here) | Tee | Jeans | Slippers | Beanie (similar here and here) | Mug | Tree | Pillow (similar) | Throw (similar) | Gift boxes
There is nothing better than being cozy during the holidays (frankly I love it any time of the year). I am someone that is always cold so anything that keeps me warm is a great gift idea. Here are some options for the homebody/loungewear loving/give me all the cozy people in your life:

1. First things first is a cozy robe. My mom bought me this one last year and I still wear it every single day. And in the winter, you can find me wearing it over my clothes when I'm around the house. Here is a post of me wearing it.

2. I have accumulated quite a nice slippers collection because my feet are always cold! These are my newest addition (and are on major sale for under $20), Stan and I both have these, and these appealed to my sparkly glitter loving self.

3. If you have followed me for awhile you will know I love pajama sets (this post shares my favorite brand of all)! Here are a few that caught my eye - these come in so many different prints, this print is so elegant, I love the rainbow stripes on this set and this is the set I wear all the time.

4. Next up is loungewear. There is a definite difference between pajamas and loungewear (true loungewear lovers know this LOL). This loungewear set is on my wishlist, this one has the most gorgeous lace detail and this is a great set for the price (currently on sale)!

5. Of course, I cannot fully get cozy without candles. I will forever love this scent by Diptyque (the limited edition version is stunning!), my favorite rose perfume comes in a candle and I'm thinking of trying this one for the holidays.

6. If my robe is not nearby, I have been known to drape myself in a throw or blanket and walk around the house. This blanket has been on my wishlist for ages, and I love the look of this one with the pom poms and if I was really going to splurge I would get this cable knit one.

7. One of my favorite things to do when I am lounging around is listen to my audiobooks. Stan bought me these wireless headphones a few months ago and they were the best gift ever!

8. For those that may not love slippers and would rather wear socks, these look so comfy and warm.

9. This is my favorite tea to drink and I always love a cute mug to drink it in. This is the one I always use and love the emoji faces, and a monogrammed mug is always a good gift idea.

10. Fuzzy pullovers are everywhere this year and I love them both around the house and when I'm out and about running errands. This is the one I just wore the other day (see it here), I also love the heart detail on this one and this one has a ton of great reviews.

11. I love to mask when I'm lounging around and these are my favorite luxury sheet masks. I've recently been using this mask all the time because I love how it decongests the skin and this is one of the best masks to splurge on.

12. Heated blankets and space heaters are also a great gift for those that love to be warm (myself included)!

Gift Guide for the Luxury Beauty Lover

My first gift guide for the season is here! I only plan on doing a select few but they will definitely feature some of my favorite picks or finds. The first one should not be a surprise to anyone - it is a gift guide for the luxury beauty lover. I selected a handful of products that are super luxurious at a variety of price points. Here are my ideas of what to get this gal (or guy!):

1. Fancy candles are always a good idea. This set from Byredo is a new discovery and I love all the scents! And the packaging is minimal and so chic.

2. Diptyque anything! Diptyque holiday packaging is like no other and the candle set is perfect for a luxury lover. It comes in two different sizes so you can determine just how much you want to splurge. Ha!

3. The ultimate advent calendar. Continuing the Diptyque love, their advent calendar is one of the biggest sellers for them but it is a major spend. However, it manages to sell out so quickly every year so clearly it's worth the splurge. If perfume is more your preference, this Atelier Cologne Advent Calendar is gorgeous with a great selection of scents. And if you want one that encompasses everything beauty, this set from Net-a-Porter is the one to buy.

4. Pampering bath products. This bath line is well priced but feels more expensive than it is, and the scents are delicious. This is my favorite rose scent and the body wash is a nice way to enjoy this luxurious line at a more manageable price point. Fancy hand soap is something we rarely buy for ourselves but it would make a great gift! And nothing says "I'm fancy and fabulous" like pulling this hand cream out of your bag. The most elegant stocking stuff ever!

5. Fancy makeup with even better packaging. This line of lipsticks has some of the best packaging as well as one of the best formulas. I've been raving about this eye shadow palette over the past few weeks and it's one that I would highly recommend giving to a fellow makeup lover (also available here)!

6. The ultimate lipstick set. If someone in your life just got a huge bonus or major promotion this year and they want to spoil you, this lipstick set is the one to ask for! This other one is a tenth of the price but would still be amazing to receive.

7. For the person that has all the makeup and skincare. They need something fabulous to carry it all in like this marble print travel case. Or maybe upgrade their at home makeup routine with this luxe mirror.

8. Skincare sets worth splurging on. I use almost every single product from this line and love them all (including the cleansing balm which is a staple for me). This microneedling set is actually what I would love to receive and have been wanting to try it for the past year! Jade rolling and facial massage is all the rage right now but this facial roller is the ultimate splurge (and here it is in a set). I have it and use it every day. It can also be used on the body because of it's larger size which helps to justify the price a bit more (a small bit but still). Sunday Riley sets are always popular and this one has a great selection of her products.

9. Limited edition skincare packaging - As a packaging fanatic, I love the holidays because all the fancy limited edition versions come out. This larger version of Vintner's Daughter has the most gorgeous bottle design, while the holiday SK-II Facial Treatment Essence bottle has become a collectors' item at this point.

10. Splurgeworthy hair products. I use this curling iron every single day and it's worth every penny. It heats up quickly and my curls last all day. And if this texturizing spray (which is one of the best) is a must have for you, this limited edition size and bottle should be on your wish list.

11. A few other random beauty products not to miss - this silk set which is the ultimate luxury. I love sleeping on a silk pillowcase and this is the gold standard. For the decor obsessed, this candle is absolutely gorgeous! I plan on ordering this for myself.

Stay tuned for my next gift guide coming next weekend!!

Friday Finds: My Favorite Gifts This Year To Give (and Get!)

Leopard print turtleneck, Skirt (similar here and here), Tights, Boots (similar here and here), Miles' outfit, Miles' hat
I thought there would be no better photo for today's post than a pic from our outing the other day to visit Santa. :) Today's Friday Finds features many of my favorite gift ideas along with some items I have on my own list that I am hoping to receive. There is a wide variety of ideas and suggestions in this post, and many of these things I have talked about or featured in recent posts/videos. Maybe you will find that last gift you are looking for or forward something to a family member as a suggestion of what you would like to receive! Ha!

1. I don't wear a ton of jewelry, but I like pieces that are simple or have meaning. This pendant necklace would be a great gift and especially for a new mom, she can choose her child's initial to wear.

2. For the health nut or someone that wants to make better eating choices for the new year, this peptide powder might be an interesting gift. I have heard so many great things about these peptides and it's so easy to add to any drink since it has virtually no flavor.

3. If someone in your life travels often, perhaps splurge and get them a new piece of luggage or luggage set. I have had my eye on this brand foreverrrr and love the marble print as well as the rose gold color.

4. Body products whether they are scrubs, oils, shower gels or lotions are great things to give to encourage a friend to take time and pamper herself. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this brand and the two products that I would gift would be the melt and the scrub.

5. Rarely do we buy certain fun home decor items for ourselves, so these trays are so whimsical and cute. They would look great on a coffee table, a desk or even displayed on a bookshelf like I did here with my silver tray on the top of my bookcase.

6. A tech lover that wants her devices to still look chic? This charges your smartphone and is a vase as well! No more ugly cords ruining your gorgeous nightstand. LOL

7. Give the gift of moisturized lips to anyone and everyone in your life! Ha! This lip moisturizer is one that I use, Stan uses and all my friends that I have gifted it to absolutely swear by it as well.

8. I showed this dog bed on my insta-stories recently and received more DMs about it than any beauty product I have posted lately! Clearly all of you love your pets and want to spoil them with cozy things as well. Elmo has not left this bed since it arrived and frankly it looks sooo much more chic in my living room than any other dog bed has before.

9. For the glam gal in your life (or for yourself perhaps), these sneakers are perfect! I actually have these on my Christmas list and would even love them in pink too.

10. Gift this keyboard cover to a co-worker to make their laptop more exciting! I have it and always get asked about it when I'm out working in a coffee shop or restaurant.

11. You can not get anymore Instagram goals than this chunky blanket that is all over social media. As someone that has one I absolutely LOVE it! Use it to cozy up on the couch or simply as a fabulous piece of decor, it's a great gift.

My Holiday Traditions + Gift Ideas for the Loungewear Lover

My Outfit: Sweater - Express (similar here) | Leggings - Express | Slippers - J.Crew | Beanie - J.Crew

Miles' Outfit: Onesie - Burt's Bees | Beanie - Amazon

Home decor: Pillow | Tree | Tan Throw | Beige Throw | Basket | Stockings | Stocking holders (similar here) | Mug

I always love being comfortable at home, but years ago that meant oversized sweats that never matched and frankly looked awful. I finally decided last year to throw them out in an effort to revamp my pajama and loungewear collection. I LOVE being put together and well dressed when I leave the house, so I wasn't sure why I didn't extend that to what I wear at home. Once I began buying matching pjs or cute loungewear pieces, I actually felt so much better. In fact one of my readers left me a funny comment on one of my instagrams saying that when she is wearing matching pjs, she feels she has her life together. LOL And that is exactly it! My love of nice pajamas has now extended to cozy loungewear pieces as well and now I feel like one big Hallmark movie ad sometimes. Ha! And oddly enough whenever I post loungewear or activewear pieces on my blog/Instagram, they are some of my most popular posts and many of you have told me you picked up tons of my recommendations to spruce up your own loungewear attire. So I thought I would share a new set I picked up on sale in the pictures above, as well as round up a TON of great recommendations for gift ideas for the cozy loungewear lovers in your life and maybe a few things for yourself *wink*.

And since there is no better time of the year than the holidays to take cozy to the extreme, we took these pics in front of our Christmas tree. And yes I even tried to have Miles match with me. I'm already trying to think of what our family holiday traditions will be with him, since I had so many great ones with my parents when I was younger. They weren't anything exceptionally different than what many families did, but I still adored them and have the best memories. Some of my favorites were:

  • Decorating the tree while playing this specific Christmas music that my mom would save for during that time. To be honest, I have no idea what it was (I should ask her) but there was this one song that represented Santa flying through the sky and it would play faster and faster until the crescendo of him "landing on the house". It was absolute joy for me and I still remember listening to that song and the excitement I felt.
  • I had this bell that I cut out of construction paper and then we would cut out red and green strips of paper to make a paper chain that I would connect to the bell. I would rip off a link each day leading up to Christmas and I couldn't wait to run into the kitchen each morning and rip it off! LOL
  • We also had an advent calendar (mine simply had chocolate but I would love a nice Diptyque one at my current age HA!), and in addition to ripping off a ring each morning, I would open a door. Again, pure excitement every. single. day.
  • There are so many pre-made gingerbread kits out these days, but when I was a kid my mom would make her own gingerbread for the house that we would put together. She even had a pattern cut out of cardboard that she kept and reused each year. My attention span would only last a short amount of time with decorating it, so my mom always had to finish it alone but I still adored that activity.
  • We would attend mass on Christmas Eve and then come back to the house and my parents would let me open a gift that evening. That was always a big hit with me! LOL
  • Driving around and seeing all the Christmas lights was a must have and one that was always a favorite.
I can't wait to begin our own traditions with Miles even if they are ones that everyone enjoys as well - it will feel special simply because we can do it all together. However I would love some recommendations of any fun traditions you do with your families since there are really creative ones I have heard about over the years that may be fun to try. Gift Guide For the Luxury Beauty Lover

If there is any time of the year to gift (or get yay!) more expensive or extravagant gifts, it is the holiday season. While there are tons of great beauty gift sets that roll out throughout the year, the ones during the holidays are really decadent. If you are feeling extra spendy (or perhaps someone in your life is wanting to really spoil you), I rounded up some of my favorite super luxe beauty gifts and sets.

In addition to the ones I showed above, there were a few more worth mentioning (and one is a MAJOR splurge so I am totally jealous if someone gets it for you LOL).

  • Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Holiday Set - I already love their dry shampoo and fragrance, so this entire set is something I am putting on my holiday wish list!
  • Net-a-Porter Ultimate Beauty Kit - This is it! The mother of all luxe beauty gifts.
  • By Terry Prestige Beauty Set - I am a huge By Terry lover, and while there are quite a few smaller gift sets available, this one is a true splurge. And perfect for someone that is as obsessed with all things By Terry as I am.
  • GloPRO Pack N' Glo set - So much buzz surrounding this microneedling device and I would love to receive this. It is probably not something you would buy yourself, but the holidays is a great time to give someone this to start the new year off on a skincare high note.
  • Elemis Pro-Collagen Collection Set - I love the Elemis Pro-Collagen collection and have reviewed it a few times on my blog. This set contains every single product from the range and covers almost every step of a skincare routine.
  • Fornasetti Large Candle - These candles put Diptyque to shame in terms of price, but the packaging of them always seems so elegant and chic. A major splurge for sure.
  • Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Set - Not a super expensive set, but for those that love the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors this is the perfect gift so they can try them all.
  • Tata Harper Time to Shine Set - Even though I don't exclusively use natural or organic beauty products, Tata Harper has been a long time favorite of mine for years. This set contains some of her most loved (and most effective) products.

A Little Bit etc Holiday Gift Guide

Truth be told, I am not quite sure if this is really a holiday gift guide or rather just my actual Christmas wish list.  Either way, these are items that I am totally coveting right now and would simply LOVE to get  give (note to self - the season is all about giving, the season is all about giving).  But honestly, don't you get all happy just looking at all that shiny, sparkly, fabulous, yummy stuff and want Santa's sleigh to drop one of these gems to your family, friends AND you?  I thought so.  Selfish readers.  I am so proud of you. Let's talk gifts shall we?

1.  Seda France Pagoda Box Candle in Japanese Quince - I actually just want someone to buy me a lifetime supply of this candle, it is that good.  It's a scent that works for any time of the year and makes your home smell fresh, sweet, clean and well - somewhere that you just wanna be all the time.
2.  Vita Fede Futtoro Ring - This ring. THIS RING. People please - there is little I need to say about such a kick ass piece of finger decor.  And in rose gold?  Gimme.  Or more like give it. (holiday time = giving!)
3.  J. Crew Polka Dot Snood - It's a scarf AND a hood - it's a snood.  Who cares what silly names they are going to give it - I love these things.  Super easy to wear, toasty and warm, and sooo chic - and this one is in polka dots! Meep!
4.  Eve Lom Perfect Partners Collection - I have been coveting the cult classic Eve Lom cleanser for a while now.  To be accurate - "it literally melts away makeup and grime as it exfoliates, brightens and tones".  Grateful skin all around.
5.  Crumbs Cupcakes - Ok, ok - I know this is not a food blog but seriously these are my favorite cupcakes in the whole world!  Reason being - the icing to cake ratio is almost 2:1 - me loves icing (said in a cookie monster voice).  I could buy these for myself (and frankly do a few times a week) but I also would gift these in a hot minute.  And then ask them if I could have a bite, or two.
6.  JINsoon Nail Polish - As a self proclaimed nail polish junkie, I hear these polishes are the real deal.  Super long wearing, beautiful colors and virtually chip free.  And small enough that you could buy one for friend, one for you, one for friend, one for you.
7.  Clare Vivier Striped Clutch -Big enough for a kick ass amount of makeup, and chic enough to sport as a night-out clutch.  A gal can never have too many handbags.
8.  Club Monaco Leopard Print Gloves - My hands never looked so chic....er....your friend/family member/office mate's hands never looked so chic.  As the weather begins to get more frigid and just plain unacceptable, wouldn't it be nice to keep sight of one's fashion dignity in gloves such as these?

So there you have it.  My blog's obligatory holiday gift guide/holiday wish list/I hope my husband and family are reading this so they can get these things for me list.  What is on your holiday list this year?  And have you tried any of the above things and can give a true testament to their awesomeness?  Share in the comments below or tweet me @alittlebitetc.

Happy Holidays!
