I'm assuming that silver heels work the same way that ruby red slippers do - if I click them together 3 times, I can be transported somewhere else, right? RIGHT?? I have a feeling that you are lying to me (and after all that we have been through together...), and I will not wake up in St. Barts. But at least if I can't physically be in a warm, sunny locale, my wardrobe can begin to look like it. Is it weird that I rely on my clothes to be a sartorial serotonin reuptake inhibitor? Is it weird that I even know what that is? College organic chem rearing its ugly head every now and again. We already know what I think of those silly fashion rules surrounding white, so white jeans are still a year round favorite. Annnnnd I have a feeling these J. Crew silver pumps will make their rounds quite a bit in the next few months. Mixing stripes and plaid is a rather new thing for me, but I actually quite like this look and may begin to experiment more with contrasting patterns. Preferably not in front of a giant green construction site as shown above. But unfortunately my celebrity set designer was sick that day and our preferred photo shoot location on a boat in the south pacific was booked. BUMMER. So we had to make do with the park near my apartment. I'm sure there is someone I can speak to about this.......

Thanks love! I still feel quite unsure about mixing patterns but I'm glad this seemed to work. :)
