What Should Be On My Vanity: Nordstrom Anniversary Edition

Nordstrom anniversary sale beauty picks
It's the most anticipated sale of the year - and for good reason! I'm a bit picky when it comes to beauty sets, but there are some of my all-time favorite products in duos or sets this year. Below are my recommendations:

1. Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel Duo - I am on either bottle 5 or 6 of this - I always have one in my collection. (read my review here)

2. Kate Somerville Exfolikate Treatment - This is quite a splurge, but it's one of the best exfoliators out there. (read my review here)

3. Hourglass Palette - I LIVE for my Hourglass palette and love the Hourglass blushes and bronzer so this palette is a great mix of all three. (read my old reviews here)

4. Charlotte Tilbury Instant Beauty Palette - I never picked up the first Instant Look palette, so I don't want to miss this one!

5. Sisley Black Rose Radiance Set - One of the best luxury face oils in my collection, and the mask is a brand cult classic. (read my reviews here)

6. Jo Malone Cologne Set - Meep! How cute are these mini bottles?! Such a great selection of fragrances.

7. Neulash Serum Duo - I am currently using this serum and am on month two. It is remarkable how much my lashes are growing! Will be reviewing soon but I highly recommend picking this up if it has been on your radar.

8. YSL Black Opium Set - I bought a roller ball of this earlier this year, and this set is really tempting. It's a warm yet spicy sent that is ideal for fall.

9. SK-II Anti-Aging Set - If you have ever wanted to try SK-II, this is the set to splurge on! (read my old reviews here)

10. Diptyque Set - Mini Diptyque candles! Need I say more?!!

11. Clarins Double Serum Set - This is a great anti-aging serum for preventive and corrective care, and for (mostly) all skin types. I constantly recommend this to anyone looking for an all around great anti-aging serum. (read my review here)

12. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting Liquid Duo - I am never without a bottle of this in my collection. It is a necessity in helping treat and prevent blemishes. (read my review here)

There were quite a few fashion items that caught my eye this year. I picked up a few pieces already and am excited for them to arrive! I will be doing a haul video early next week with the items I receive so make sure you are subscribed to my channel. Here are my favorite items from clothing, shoes and accessories:

What Should Be On My Vanity: New Skincare

I'm forever perusing all the beauty sections of every site to see what new skincare products are popping up. Here are the ones that caught my eye these past few weeks.

1. Murad Oil-Control Mask - Anything to keep me matte in the summer is on my radar. I actually have this mask and love using it 1-2x/week in the morning.

2. Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer - Blur? Hydrating? Yes to all of these. I am already a huge Clinique skincare lover (this cleansing balm and this classic hydrating moisturizer), so I am always intrigued to try their new launches.

3. Guerlain Soothing Comfort Balm - It's always great to have a product in a skincare routine that is designed to comfort and soothe the skin because irritations are inevitable. This new one from Guerlain seems like something I would want to keep in my cabinet for those instances.

4. Kate Somerville Retinol Firming Eye Cream - I love a retinol product for the face (swear by this oil, this cream and this serum), but there are only a few retinol formulas for the eyes available. This may be a great option for those looking to help address any fine lines and firming for the eye area.

5. Perricone MD Oil-Free Hydrating Cream - I have already been through an entire jar of this moisturizer from Perricone, so this oil-free hydrating cream sounds like something right up my alley.

6. Tatcha Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel - This just arrived in the mail so I will be testing it out this weekend. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this water gel especially for those with oily skin. Stay tuned!

7. Ole Henriksen Grease Relief Facial Water - Grease relief? As an oily skinned gal, that is music to my ears. Not sure how a spray delivers those kinds of results but I am still interested to try it. I'm a sucker for skincare!

8. Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream - I am already a huge fan of Drunk Elephant (yay to this serum), and this whipped cream sounds like hydration heaven. Perhaps it conjures up ideas of desserts in my head - either way I think it sounds decadent and wonderful.

9. RMS Beauty Oil - RMS beauty has been on my radar for quite some time - both makeup and skincare. This beauty oil sounds simple and basic, but sometimes those products are the most effective.

What Should Be On My Vanity: Summer Beauty

Summer never used to be a time that beauty brands launched many new products, but there have been a ton of new products launched recently! Which is totally messing up my budget in preparation for all the fall launches. Ugh. Anyhoo...here are the 10 products that caught my eye this week:

1. YSL Vinyl Couture Mascara - It's been a long time since I have used a YSL mascara (this was the one I used to wear), so this new launch really intrigues me. Plus there is a yellow shade. Wha???????

2. Tom Ford Brow Gel Comb - Ok, this is a new men's product, but I don't care! I want to try it. It's meant to blend into any brow color and help groom them.

3. Chanel Empreinte du Desert Quad - I haven't purchased a Chanel eyeshadow quad in a long time, but this one is really calling my name. It may be time to break my streak.

4. Chris Chang for MAC Lipstick in Vermillion Vee - Between the packaging and THIS color, I feel my summer wardrobe needs this.

5. Lancome Belle de Teint - I enjoy using body oils in the winter, but using one in the summer to help give a glow to the legs and arms is something I surprisingly haven't tried. This one seems like a shade that isn't too dark and may work for me.

6. Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm - Because I can't resist a new cleanser. Especially a balm. That's why I want to try this.

7. Ouai Clean Shampoo - There has been such buzz about this new hair line that I am finally falling victim to it. This new Clean Shampoo sounds like it would be perfect for my oily scalp.

8. Dior Backstage Eye Reviver Neutrals Palette - I already love and use this Dior palette, so this newer updated version seems like one that I would get a ton of use out of.

9. Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara - I have been loving a ton of different mascaras recently, and this one caught my attention immediately. It may be the medieval looking brush or the packaging, but I may make this my next mascara purchase.

10. Gucci Sensuous Matte Lipstick - This Gucci lipstick formula  in Iconic Red is one of my top 3 favorite reds, so I was immediately drawn to this new matte lip formula that just launched.

4/23/16

What Should Be On My Vanity: Summer Bronzing and Face Powders

Summer is a time of bronzer overload, and I love how brands step up their game a bit more each year. There are a ton of really beautiful bronzers and powders that have recently launched and I rounded up the ones that stood out the most to me.

1. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Otherearthly - I don't buy a lot of MAC makeup, but this skinfinish powder looks interesting, though I can imagine it will give a strong glow.

2. Dior Nude Air Glow Powder - This is a repromote that Dior does every year only changing the colors slightly, but I am so drawn to it each time. I finally purchased it and am excited to use it this summer.

3. Edward Bess Threads of Silk Powder - I have not tried any Edward Bess products before, but this blush powder looks like something I want to wear.

4. Burberry 'London with Love' Powder - To be honest, I don't anticipate this to be the most appealing shade on the skin, but the packaging is just too cute to ignore.

5. Kevyn Aucoin The Neo-Bronzer - From the moment I saw this online, I was immediately intrigued. The ombre pattern seems like it would give a nice color when all swirled together.

6. Lancome Belle de Teint Powder Glow - This looks similar to the Chanel Les Beiges summer powders from a few years ago, but with a bit more of a bronzy tone.

7. Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette - I am already a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury's blushes and pressed powder, so I am very excited to try this palette. It seems to have all the necessities for the face in one palette.

8. Guerlain Pause d'Ete Collector Bronzing Powder Duo - No one does bronzers like Guerlain, and this one is a must have. The packaging looks stunning and I am already guessing that it will look like bronzed goddess perfection when on the skin.

9. YSL Les Sahariennes Bronzing Stones - I haven't picked up any YSL beauty items in a long time, but I am a sucker for animal print so this has definitely been tempting me.

4/9/16

What Should Be On My Vanity: New Skincare Products On My Radar

I know all the summer beauty collections are beginning to roll in (a look at some here, here, and here), but I have my eye on a ton of new skincare launches. Here are ones that piqued my interest:

1. La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Serum - I already adore the oil from this line, so the new serum really appeals to me. In addition to helping with anti-aging concerns, it also helps "relieve signs of fatigue, dullness and dryness".

2. La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil SPF 50 - Now that I live in a warmer climate, I am interested in using a higher level SPF. This particular SPF has a complex that helps to repair past sun damage which is an added bonus.

3. Retrouve Luminous Cleansing Elixir - I think it's the name that pulled me in for this new cleanser - a luminous cleansing elixir?! Yes please!

4. Origins Maskimizer - Ok, let's talk about this product. I first heard about it a month ago and thought "Ok, now I have heard everything? A primer for a mask?!!" But then I realized that it's similar to when I apply a hydrating mist before the rest of my treatments and masks, so I understood it a bit more. And I love the added hydration boost I get from a hydrating mist, so this has now made it on my list of skincare products I want to try.

5. Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion - I love a good multi-step skincare routine, and I discovered essences about 1.5 years ago and have enjoyed adding them in ever since. I typically use an essence after my toning step but before I apply any treatments. I have heard amazing reviews of this one from Estee Lauder and the claims of brightening and increased hydration are pretty much guarantees that I will want to try the product.

6. Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream - Keeping my skin hydrated is even more important to me than using the strongest active ingredients. When my skin is full of moisture it looks its best. This new Fresh face cream seems like something I would love using.

7. SK-II Facial Treatment Oil - I am already a devotee of the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and the Facial Treatment Masks, so a new facial oil in the range? Yes, please.

8. Chanel Hydra Beauty Flash - Ok, I hope you are sitting down for this next statement. I have never tried any Chanel skincare. Are you still there? I know - it's shocking but true. I always go to them for makeup, but this Hydra Beauty Flash sounds like something that may finally have me break into the skincare. It's a perfecting balm/moisturizer that helps to minimize and smooth out imperfections while hydrating the skin. It sounds like the perfect product for under makeup.

9. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm - Let's just be honest, if a new cleansing balm launches, I want to try it. It's as simple as that.

10. Kate Somerville Goat Milk Eye Balm - Yes to all things Kate Somerville. And YASSS to all things Kate Somerville Goat Milk. I adore the Goat Milk moisturizer, so a new cooling Eye Balm that helps to de-puff and moisturize is an immediate yes for me.

11. Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser - As if the Eye Balm launch wasn't enough to get me excited, now there is a Goat Milk Cleanser?!!! There has not been a thick and creamy cleanser from Kate Somerville's range before this and I am ecstatic to finally see one being introduced.

What Should Be On My Vanity: New In Beauty

I don't always focus on only the newest launches since there are still so many products that I have yet to try. However, the spring/summer beauty collections are always a draw because they are a welcome relief to all the past few months of cold, awful weather. Here are 11 of the newest products that I'm interested in trying:

1. Dior Hydra Life Jelly Sleeping Mask - I love a sleeping mask and any skincare item that has a "jelly" texture is one I want to try. Hydrating sleeping masks are one of my favorite products to add in at the end of my nighttime skincare routine to help give me an added boost of moisture.

2. Chantecaille Le Magnolia Eye and Cheek Palette - These Chantecaille eye shadows are one of my holy grail formulas, so I am intrigued to try this palette. I love that it has both eyes and cheeks together in one compact and the colors are easy to wear and suitable for every day.

3. Laura Mercier Blemish-less Foundation Primer - Laura Mercier is already know for her base products (in my opinion this is the best foundation she makes), and now she is coming out with a primer for acne prone skin. Yay!

4. Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara - I was not a fan of Marc Jacobs' first mascara he launched with the line, but so many people have been raving about this formula that I need to give it a try.

5. Estee Lauder The Barest Blush - Ok, here is one instance where the packaging is completely selling me on the product. The grooves in the blush, the ombre/marbled effect and the gorgeous silver compact - what is there not to love?!

6. By Terry Sun Designer Palette - This is actually on its way to me right now so it will be on my vanity shortly! Review coming soon.

7. Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream - Another product that was on my wish list and finally I have a chance to try it. It just arrived today, so I will keep you posted on my thoughts soon.

8. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - I have really fallen in love with the entire Charlotte Tilbury line (this is my favorite cream eye shadow formula), but have not picked up any base products from her yet. This may be the one to change that.

9. Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Extreme Wear Concealer - I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation and have heard amazing things about the original formulation as well. This concealer sounds like the perfect product for the summer and any beach vacations.

10. Estee Lauder Summer Glow Palette - The Bronze Goddess collection from Estee Lauder is one that I look forward to every year. This palette is aptly named and seems like the perfect one to achieve a summer glow.

11. Stella McCartney Pop Fragrance - I have been wearing this Stella McCartney fragrance for over 10 years, so was thrilled to hear she was launching a new one finally! And yes, let us not be surprised that the packaging is a big reason why I want to try this. Though the notes of Plumeria, Sandalwood, Violet and Tuberose make it sound like something I want to wear.

What Should Be On My Vanity

The spring collections are in full swing now and soon the summer collections will be trickling in - eek! So exciting! Here is a look at some beauty products that caught my eye over the past few weeks:

1. Kate Somerville Nourish Hydrating Firming Mist - If it's from Kate Somerville, I want to try it. And this firming and hydrating mist sounds heavenly.

2. Jo Malone Sakura Cherry Blossom Cologne -I know I shouldn't want this just for the packaging, but I kinda do. Is that so wrong?

3. Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint Powder Duo -Guerlain bronzers are my holy grails, and this one looks too good not to add to my collection.

4. Philosophy Iced Mint Lemonade Lip Scrub - It's been a while since I've used a lip scrub, but this one from Philosophy sounds yummy.

5. Dior Rouge Dior Brilliant Lipshine -I really enjoyed the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks when they launched, and these new Lipshines seem like a good hybrid between a balm, lipgloss and lipstick.

6. Guerlain Cils d'Enfer So Volume Maxi-Lash - The original Guerlain Maxi-Lash is one of my favorite mascaras of all time, so any version of it I most definitely want to try. Dramatic, bold lashes - yes, please.

7. Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette - I wore the first and original Stella McCartney fragrance for years, and this new version with notes of mandarin, lemon, freesia and rose seems like the a great scent for spring.

8. Chanel Brightening Tri-Phase Makeup Remover - I have yet to try any Chanel skincare, so I think starting with a cleanser may be my best bet. And this new one looks promising.

What Should Be On My Vanity

There has been a ton of new things popping up on my radar recently, and I feel like my wishlist never ends. But I guess that's the point - if there wasn't new products to keep my attention and test out, my blog would cease to exist! So bring on the launches! Here is a look at what has caught my attention over the past few weeks:

1. Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer - It's been a while (a long while) since I have used a Clinique foundation. But something about this new one intrigues me. Maybe because it can be a base and concealer in one? If you know anything about me, than you know I love a bit of coverage. So this sounds right up my alley.

2. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer - I have never tried anything the Double Wear foundation range, but after falling in love with the new reformulated Double Wear Eye Pencils (read my review here) the line is now on my radar. This concealer sounds promising with its long wearing claims and flawless finish.

3. Armani Eye Tints - I can't really remember the last Armani eye shadow I purchased (though I love these lipsticks from Armani), but these new Eye Tints immediately impressed me. The range of colors is quite extensive but there seem to be a lot of neutral tones that would work perfect for every day.

4. L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate - It's embarrassing to admit that I have not yet tried this super popular body cream, but alas I am late to the party. I can always use another rich and emollient body cream and if it's almond scented - that is even better.

5. Cle de Peau Beaute Radiant Powder Foundation Brush - After splurging on this brush and this brush, I am on a luxury brush roll at this point. This is ideally designed for powder foundation, but I can see it working wonders with bronzer, finishing powders and even cream foundations.

6. Bobbi Brown Brightening Powder - I swear by this pastel brightening powder I purchased last year (it was one of my best of 2014 picks), so to see that it now comes in a plethora of other shades makes my heart (and face) happy. I think this neutral toned one would be a beautiful contour shade for me that would add some color as well as dimension.

7. Atelier Cologne Polemo Paradis Cologne - After falling in love with Santal Carmin, I can't help but want to add a new scent to my collection. With notes of Blackcurrant, Orange Blossom, Rose Essence and Amber, this sounds like the perfect scent to take me into the spring season.

8. La Prairie Swiss Crystal Ice Emulsion - No I cannot resist a new skincare launch. Especially one from luxury brand La Prairie (this cleanser from them is one of my favorites). This lightweight emulsion is designed to help address the first signs of aging while keeping skin hydrated and in balance. And frankly, that sounds perfect to me.

9. Omorovicza Mineral UV Shield SPF 30 - I wear SPF all year round, and just ran out of one of my all time favorites, so naturally it is time to look for a new one. I'm new to the Omorovicza range, but it claims to help blur imperfections and give a matte finish which is basically music to my ears.

What Should Be On My Vanity

I have to be honest with you - post New Year's is my least favorite time of the year. The holidays are over, the weather is awful and summer seems a lifetime away. But the silver lining to this is that all the spring collections are slowly starting to trickle in and it's brightening my spirits. I'm not a pastel lover most of the time, but surprisingly I can't pass it up when those first few spring launches hit the counter. There are a ton of new arrivals at Sephora, and I love how Bloomingdale's has a page just dedicated to the new spring makeup lines. After scrolling through a ton of new releases over the past week or two, here is a look at some products I am dying to try, and a few old ones that are currently on my wish list.

1. Clarins Lip Comfort Oil - I do love a full coverage lipstick, but this new lip oil concept that has hit the market intrigues me. These Clarins Lip Oils (as well as the new YSL ones) seem like they would be heaven on the lips - especially during a time of the year when my lips could use the moisture!

2. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstars on the Go - After finally trying a few of Charlotte Tilbury's products (read that post here), I am excited to add a few more to my collection. These new cream eye and cheek combos seem perfect for using when I travel or on a morning when I hit the snooze button too many times and need to dash out the door.

3. Byredo Black Saffron - Though I have way more fragrances than I could ever use, I am always on the lookout for a new one. Whoops. I have heard rave reviews about this scent from Byredo, and was anxious to test it out during a recent trip to Barneys. After the first spray, I was not impressed and then 20 minutes later the scent settled on my skin and I was hooked. It is by far one of the most unique scents I have ever experienced and I think it will need to be my next fragrance purchase.

4. Dior Kingdom of Colors Vernis and Blossoming Top Coat - Either it's Chanel or Dior that comes out of the gate at the beginning of the year with great spring nail shades - and this year I prefer Dior's offering. The confetti top coat seems like it may be a pain to take off, but I can't resist that sea foam green shade!

5. NARS Dual-Intensity Palette - I am embarrassed to even admit this, but I did not purchase any of the NARS Dual Intensity shadows when they first launched. There are too many makeup launches constantly occurring, and my budget only allows for so much! But now that NARS has released a palette of this formula, I think I may have to pull the trigger.

6. Guerlain Ecrin 4 Couleurs in Les Precieux - I am already a huge fan of Guerlain eye shadows (well, Guerlain anything to be honest), and am loving their recent release called Les Sables. So naturally when they released their new spring collection, I was instantly drawn to this palette. I am not sure if it's the new embossing they are doing, or the array of colors, but I know I must have it!

7. Jo Malone My Wanderlust Cardamom and Morrocan Rose Candle - I've been on a Diptyque candle buying spree recently, picking up this one from holiday and this one with a recent gift card, but I was drawn immediately to the jar of this Jo Malone candle. I have never tried Jo Malone's candles, but I hear such rave reviews so I believe they are as superior as Diptyque.

8. Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Oil - It's the dead of winter and face oils are a must for me right now! I have been using this one from Sunday Riley to help minimize breakouts, and think this new one from Laura Mercier would be great to add to my routine. It's designed to help replenish moisture and nourish the skin which is exactly what I need this time of year.

9. Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment - If you are new to this blog, then I should probably catch you up to speed. I am obsessed with the original Blue Plasma. It is a holy grail product for me, and gives my skin the most amazing results when using regularly (read my review here). So when I heard there was a new Blue Plasma cleansing treatment, I knew I needed it yesterday! It helps to purify pores by removing debris while still keeping the skin hydrated - and doesn't that sound like something we could all benefit from in our routine? YES IT DOES.

What's currently on your beauty wish list?

What Should Be On My Vanity

As you guys know by now, I rarely do standard gift guides on the blog, but my "What Should Be On My Vanity/What Should Be In My Closet" posts just turn into big holiday wish lists for me. LOL And if you get some great ideas on things to get yourself or others - then great! There are so many festive beauty products out now and sets that are just too good to pass up. Here is a look at some things that have been on my radar recently and would be wonderful if they ended up in my holiday stocking. *wink wink*

1. Diptyque Mini Candle Set (Nordstrom exclusive) - If you are a Diptyque lover, then this is the set for you. It gives you a chance to try a ton of different scents at one time or give them all out as gifts! Who wouldn't want to be your friend after that, right?

2. By Terry Terrybly Velvet Rouge - When it comes to anything By Terry, I already know I want it. And these new matte liquid lipsticks are no exception. All the colors are absolutely stunning but I am partial to Dream Bloom and Ingu Rouge.

3. Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Magic Kit - Already a fan of the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, this set seems like a skincare lover's dream. There are six items to the set and all are designed to help smooth, hydrate and give more radiant looking skin. Basically, the skin that we all want. Better get me a back-up of this set. Please and thank you.

4. Guerlain Repairing Honey Gel Mask - Just the packaging alone of this Guerlain mask looks decadent, so I can only imagine the product inside. A intensely nourishing honey mask that helps to plump and smooth the skin? Yes, please.

5. YSL Couture Palette Wild Edition - Oh look, a neutral eye palette with amazing packaging - it's such a shocker that I want this. Clearly I am stepping out of my comfort zone for my holiday wish list. What's next? A delicate peachy blush or maybe a nude lipstick? Living on the edge, Maree.

6. Burberry Nail Polishes - I have yet to try the Burberry line polishes and these holiday colors seems like the perfect ones to begin with. I am partial to that deep red however - that seems like 'a party on my nails' kind of color.

7. Tom Ford Cream Eye Shadow - I've never tried Tom Ford's cream eye shadows but this one in Spice and the other shade in Platinum seem too good to pass up.

8. SK-II Limited Edition Facial Treatment Essence - I know, I already have one Facial Treatment Essence but I will need to repurchase at some point, right? And if it can be with an adorably designed limited edition bottle, why not? The packaging is just as important as the results.

9. Maison Martin Margiela Replica Fragrances -These are definitely not new, but I have been on a fragrance kick recently (just added this one, this one and this one to my collection), so I figured I would add one of these to my wish list. I haven't narrowed it down to a favorite scent yet, so if you have tried these and have a suggestion please leave me a comment below.

10. Sephora 24K Gold Mine Brush Set - Ok so maybe it's the sparkly 24k gold packaging that lured me in with this one, but how can you resist? These would look amazing sitting on my vanity! And yes I could use new brushes, but the packaging!! Clearly you can see I have my priorities straight.

9/16/14

What Should Be On My Vanity

Can you even with that Laura Mercier brush??? I KNOW. Fall is always such a fun time for beauty. So many great launches, all the holiday sets just around the corner - it's like a smorgasbord of new makeup and skincare! I have to admit I am not always lusting after what's new, because there is still so many great products out there that I have yet to try, but this week's finds happen to all be relatively new launches. There are so many amazing foundations that have been released recently, it's hard not to want them all! This new one from Laura Mercier has been my absolute favorite, though I did not yet try this one, which everyone has been raving about. What's on your beauty wish list this week?

1. Laura Mercier - the pattern of this brush is everything.

2. Dior Rouge Baume - I have a weakness for lip products and the fact that these are sheer makes me want them even more. I popped by the Saks counter the other night to check them out in person, but sadly there were no testers. I may just have to buy some sight unseen.

3. Cle de Peau Beaute Translucent Powder - I am such a sucker for packaging.

4. JINsoon in Melange and Heirloom - I love JINsoon polishes and her colors are always so unique. This season's collaboration with Tess Giberson is no exception.

5. Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Mono Matte Cream Eye Color - After falling in love with their eyeshadow quad in Desert, I am eagerly wanting to try more eye products from D&G.

6. Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt - So different from any other Jo Malone scent I've experienced - this woodsy/citrus-y fragrance is next on my list.

7. Dior Star Foundation - Even though I complain that their Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup has a horrible shade selection, I STILL want to try this new foundation. I'm keeping hope alive that this will match a tad better.

What Should Be On My Vanity

So many great launches have happened over the past few weeks, my beauty wish list is growing at an exponential rate. Though I love the excitement of a new product, there are also so many existing products from different lines that I need to try so I need not get tunnel vision! I'm patiently waiting for  the US Charlotte Tilbury launch, and can only imagine the pandemonium it will cause on the sites that will carry it. In addition to pinning things to my beauty pinboard, I am constantly checking the Sephora New Arrivals and Nordstrom New Arrivals to make sure I don't miss anything. Everyone has been buzzing about the new Louboutin polishes, but I'm not going to bite on this one. I have been toying with the idea of splurging on a new fragrance - any suggestions? I do love my Jo Malone and Nest Fragrances, but perhaps I'm ready for a Tom Ford fragrance. Indecision strikes again. Well regardless, I know the below products are striking my fancy, and I plan on checking off a few of them in the coming weeks. Click on each link below for more info:

What Should Be On My Vanity

Summer can often be a dull time in the beauty world, since many of the new collections look the same each year. But quite a few have piqued my interest this year, which is a first. Bobbi Brown was on the top of my list, followed by the Dior Tranatlantique collection and how could I forget about YSL and NARS? All SO GOOD. And of course, I am never not finding new skincare items to obsess over. Currently, this skincare line has been on my radar based on a ton of good reviews I have read. Now if only I had that unlimited bank account to go with it all. Limited funds aside, a girl can still dream. Here are the beauty items catching my eye this week. Click on each item to shop it:

Snowstorms will not stop me for marching boldly into spring - spring makeup that is.  Sadly I will still be rocking snow boots, scarves and puffer coats for many more months to come but my face and nails will begin to look a bit more colorful.  And of course I had to throw in a few skincare items I have been stalking recently because when am I not planning my next skincare purchase??? What Should Be On My Vanity

In true only child fashion, I figured instead of a gift guide, I would simply do another "What should be on my vanity" post/wish list for moi.  Because while giving is a lot of fun, you also need to "give" to your loved ones in the form of a list of what they should give you, or me in this case.  Either way, I have been eying these beauty items and pinning them wildly to my must buy board, in hopes that Santa is on Pinterest. *wink, wink*  Click on all links for more info:
