Bits and Pieces: Goodbye Winter

This past weekend seems to be the last bit of truly frigid weather we may have here in NYC.  My husband and I enjoyed it by traveling upstate where it was coldER, taking pictures by a huge body of water where we both almost died from freezing winds, and followed all that by eating ice cream in a quaint little shop right by the waterfront.  Not just pretty faces are we???  I am quite surprised I was even able to stand still for these photos as my extremities were slowly losing feeling with each passing minute.  But I felt it necessary to document my last (I'm totally jinxing all of us right?) potential winter outfit.  I am a little amiss in featuring this faux fur vest now since I wore it practically all winter long.  It's always a great piece to throw on last minute to add an extra layer between myself and Mother Nature.  So with this outfit I bid adieu to winter......oh who am I kidding, I really want to say "good riddance,don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out", which I feel conveys a much more accurate message.
