A Statement Blazer Under $100

Blazer - Lioness (more colors here) | Scarf - Zara (similar) | Jeans - Topshop | Shoes - Something Navy (similar here and here) | Bag - Gucci | Sunglasses - Le Specs | Ring - Kendra Scott

Nothing jazzes up an outfit like a blazer, amiright?! I have been eyeing this one for a long time and decided to grab it during the Shopbop sale. It's a much less expensive version of this Balmain blazer which is absolutely breathtaking. I was worried the strong shoulders would look too 80's but it doesn't at all. And the way it darts in at the waist makes it ultra-flattering.

We took these photos right after I had my hair color touched up for the spring and I can't believe how much lighter it looks in these pics! My hairstylist added a bunch of babylights around my whole head and I love the effect. I still like to keep my roots dark and close to my natural color because I don't have to worry about maintenance. I prefer to let the color grow out naturally and go back in 4-6 months to have it freshened up. I've had some questions about what hair products I use since my hair is color-treated but I have not switched to anything different. I love Kerastase and Ouai products and find they have worked well ever since I began coloring my hair. I do need to add a bit more moisture to my ends however so I alternate between this hair oil and this pricey treatment (but it's so worth it).

After falling in love with this blazer, I went on a serious hunt for all the best statement blazers I could find at every price point. I rounded them up and put them all in the widgets below!

Back to Basics

Sweater - Aqua | Jeans - J.Crew (old but similar here and here) | Shoes - Something Navy (similar here) | Bag - Gucci | Sunglasses - Le Specs | Lips - Armani 400  | Scarf - Club Monaco (similar here)

That time between winter and spring when feeling inspired to get dressed just isn't there. That's where I am. Anyone else? While I still manage to put myself together most days, I am not feeling motivated to venture out of my clothing comfort zone. This outfit is a perfect example of that. Stripes, denim, black - a typical "me" outfit. The red lip and red bag was my little push of effort because frankly a nude lip and black bag made this outfit a complete snoozefest. I love this bag specifically for looks like this that need a boost of excitement. And a red lip. A red lip always feel like an accessory too.

A Spring Cardigan Perfect For the Work Place or Weekends

Cardigan - Ann Taylor | Turtleneck - Club Monaco | Leggings - Trouve (old but similar here and here) | Shoes - Gianvito Rossi (budget option here) | Bag - Gucci | Sunglasses - Illesteva (similar here) | Earrings - Lisi Lerch

I'm not a huge cardigan fan but I find some from time to time that I really love. This one from Ann Taylor appealed to me because it looked more like a lightweight coat than cardigan. And the white detail on the edges gave it a much more polished look. I know there is the term "coatigan" which means a mix between a cardigan and coat and I definitely think this falls into that category. I wore this to a meeting recently and tried to make it a bit less conservative by adding faux leather leggings and leopard heels which would also be a great mix for a night out. I can also see this cardigan styled with a pencil skirt and belted for a more professional look. And throw on jeans, a camisole and flats for the weekend to dress the cardigan down. So many options for this piece!
